She honed her skills as a mess cook on her parent’s schooner, The Stephen Taber and served up gourmet fare on the MV Pauline. After attending Johnson & Wales, she returned to Rockland and ran the successful Waterworks for 8 years until she sold it to concentrate on raising her daughter. Back at the stove, she is enlivening the legacy of Dot’s with years of well honed recipes that harken back to the comfort of family meals prepared with fresh and local ingredients.
