Have you always wished you could sew, or do you want to improve on your sewing skills? 

Cathy Ahn, current kinder parent and owner of Blufox, is ready to help you make your vision a reality! 

This private sewing lesson will consist of two sessions of four hours each, and is geared toward beginners age 14 and up.  

Prior to the lessons, the student will select an "easy" sewing pattern for a women's or children's style and obtain necessary materials. Cathy will provide any guidance needed. 

At the lessons, the student will learn: 
- Safety precautions
- How to set up and operate a sewing machine, plus handling basic tools
- Practice making straight stitches
- How to lay out the fabric and cut out the pattern pieces
- How to read instructions, symbols, and markings on a pattern
- A guided step-by-step of sewing the project together
- Fitting and finishing with alterations if necessary
