Homemade Japanese dinner for 5 cooked by a Panther grandmother!

Menu includes:

1) Chikuzen-ni/onishime (simmered stew with vegetables and chicken) - see photo

2) Chirashi (Mixed sushi rice with vegetables and fish) - can be made Edo-mae style (with sashimi) or Kansai-style (no sashimi; cooked fish) *

3) Tempura or Kushi-katsu (skewered vegetables and meats) - your choice of shrimp/beef/pork/chicken

4) Soup - miso style or clear style 

5) Ohitashi - Spinach steeped in dashi broth or alternatively with sesame dressing

6) Sunomono/Salad - Japanese radish/cucumber salad with wakame (seaweed) and vinaigrette

*Can be adjusted to cooked or raw fish depending on preference.
