This 45-minute class covers the tying of a handful of some of the most common and useful knots for everyday life. Beyond knot-tying, the class will also cover how to braid 4 or more strands of cord or rope -- flat braids or round braids.

The list of knots to be covered includes the overhand knot, the figure-eight knot, the slip knot, the sheet bend, the round-turn and two half-hitches, and (if time allows) a few others.

Bill Brassfield is a WPE parent who learned knot-tying when he was a kid and has been utilizing knots and braids for everyday life.
