One month of dance classes at the Sunset Academy of Dance! Classes are offered for adults as well as children.

Description of Classes

Tap - Various styles of tap are presented ranging from Broadway style to the more syncopated jazz style of "rhythm tap."

Jazz - Jazz is a dance form that explores many different styles ranging from lyrical to traditional. This class will emphasize technique, alignment, musical variation, and jazz combinations.

Contemporary - Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.

Hip Hop - a funky and highly stylized dance form. It emphasizes specific steps and rhythms in a high-energy dynamic style.

Children's Tap/Ballet - tap/ballet.

Children's Tap/Jazz - tap/jazz.
