This whitening process is used throughout the world to tackle discoloration in the dentin and enamel of your tooth. During your Zoom! Treatment, your dentist, will begin preparing you by settling you into the dental chair and applying a special dam that exposes your teeth while protecting your gums. The whitening gel will be put on your teeth and allowed to sit for a period of up to 15 minutes, often while being exposed to a special light that is thought to accelerate the process. At the end of each 15 minute period, the gel will be removed, and a new coating applied until an hour has passed. At this point, your mouth will be rinsed of all remaining gel, and you’ll be shown the results.
