The Dog from Ipanema was founded in 1986! Its founder had a simple goal: to provide high quality services to dogs and cats in a clean and respectful environment. The open, colorful and clean space attracted newscasters from around the world.

It says a lot that some of our team members have been with our pet grooming service for many years. Al and Jackie have been with us for almost three decades! Annette and Kathy are approaching two decades, and Kdee has worked with our team for sixteen years. No matter how long, it feels like they’ve been a part of THE DOG FROM IPANEMA family forever.
