• In the slum community of Kibera, 140 Village of Love women are providing orphaned children with the foundation of a loving family, but they cannot afford to keep the children in school.

• The alternative on the streets of Kibera is very bleak: gangs, drugs, prostitution and crime. Whereas in school a child can gain skills, confidence and self esteem. They can begin to dream of becoming someone who can give back to the community.
