Antique, hand-carved black duck. One hundred years old!

12 inches long x 7 inches high

The head is carved separately and attached to the head. It was common for the original heads to break off.  They were usually re-attached or a new head was carved to replace the old one. 

NOTE: This treasure shows its age a little: some wood has chipped off from the bill and tail, and there are a few cracks underneath.
