Description

The sentiment of gratitude is captured through the ancient art of lost wax bronze casting. Makers build a model made of beeswax and encase it in clay. Once the clay hardens, the wax is melted to create a mold of the figure inside. Liquid bronze is poured into the mold and once it sets, the clay is broken to reveal the bronze figure. This technique dates back hundreds of years and provides much needed employment opportunities. Authentic fair trade product.
