The sentiment of gratitude is captured through the ancient art of lost wax bronze casting. Makers build a model made of beeswax and encase it in clay. Once the clay hardens, the wax is melted to create a mold of the figure inside. Liquid bronze is poured into the mold and once it sets, the clay is broken to reveal the bronze figure.
