Agathe Studied: Bachelor of Fine Arts, University of Quebec at Montreal, 1993.  About the Work: Rachel Gareau’s paintings transport us to the moment where everything began, to that inconceivable moment where substance set this difficult, chaotic, universe in motion. Subconsciously, Gareau’s colors, their density and their brightness, bring us back to our first love of the substance for the sake of substance, to which we owe life itself.
