Branded and framed recycled fishing rope. Chris' custom machined branding irons are heated over coals and different nautical silhouettes are burned straight into the rope. This process exposes the bright internal colors of the rope giving each piece a unique appearance.

Chris Vasconcelos has been Up-cycling ocean debris collected off of local beaches since 2016. He took his two young sons to the beach one day to pick up trash and realized most of what they found could be re-purposed. Shortly after, Harborside Upcycled was born. Everything he makes is inspired by the ocean and keeping our beaches clean is his passion.
