Robert Abele III is an American fine artist born in 1969 and raised in Bronxville New York. His childhood summers were spent on the Long Island sound in Madison Connecticut. The coastline and tidal pools were a rich source of inspiration and Robert spent many hours collecting and recording the sea life and found objects through drawings and paintings. Robert received his BFA from the School of Visual Arts NYC in 1993 and studied at the Art Students League NYC for 10 years. Robert received his MFA from the University of Massachusetts in 2018. Robert is currently a High School/Middle School Art Teacher at Pilgrim Academy in Plymouth MA.
