The Androscoggin River provides Great Glen Trails with a beautiful setting for river trips. Choose either a canoe or a kayak for your trip. Be sure to bring your camera as the Mahoosuc Mountains provide a stunning backdrop and wildlife sightings, including deer, moose, river otters, blue herons, ducks, bald eagles and owls are frequent. A.C.A certified guides know the history, topography, flora, fauna and ins and outs of all the waterways, making your trip an experience to remember. Trips are designed for first time paddlers and experts alike and offer a leisurely relaxed day on the river.

This half-day trip for two adults is your gateway to river exploration in which you'll see a beautiful, quiet section of the Androscoggin. “The trip was so relaxing that I didn’t want to go home,” said one past participant, and we’re certain you’ll agree. These tours are offered daily depending on availability and run either in the morning or afternoon. Morning tours for the early risers run 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. If you prefer the afternoon sun, these tours run 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
