Our mission is to provide members of the co-op with exclusive discounted heating fuel rates in the southern Maine region.

We are currently accepting new members. Members are entitled to an exclusive co-op discount on home heating fuel provided by Fielding’s Oil and Propane. The co-op is also working on securing additional co-op exclusive discounts on other services and products in the Southern Maine region.

A fuel co-op is an organization made up of community members with the common goal of securing discounted heating fuel. Together, the members secure negotiating power with heating fuel distributors by providing a guaranteed customer base which in turn allows the fuel distributors to sell members fuel below open market rates. Members pay an annual membership fee to the co-op to cover administration costs which pays for itself many times over in heating fuel savings.
