These are handmade Kapa earrings made by Native Hawaiian Artist and Professor at Kamakakuokalani Center for Hawaiian Studies, Maile Andrade.  The Kapa are printed with natural dye of palaa fern to make it a black color with additional wauke pieces that are like kalukalu.
