This lei is ALL the Sunday Brunch vibes! Made of nearly a thousand bird feathers, the green, gold and fiery red hues are gorgeous in the sunlight!

(wiki) The species is native to and common in southwestern China and far northern Myanmar, but has been introduced elsewhere. The male is brightly colored while the female blends in to her rustic surroundings with a light brown mottled coat. They can fly, but prefer to run. Home is dark thickets of forest where they settle in to roost at night. 

British botanist Lady Sarah Amherst first introduced the ornamental pheasant on her estates near the Duke of Bedford's Woburn Abbey in England. That’s where it picked up its more familiar English name “Lady Amherst.” Some birds even made it across the border to Scotland. A well-traveled bird!
