The Summer of Love Concert focuses on iconic rock music from the period of time  between the 1967 release of The Beatles revolutionary album Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band and the famous Woodstock Music and Arts Festival in 1969, with music from artists like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Dylan, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Santana, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Jefferson Airplane, The Lemon Pipers, The Turtles, The Beach Boys, Mamas and the Papas, Country Joe, Ravi Shankar, Procol Harum, Joe Cocker,  Melanie, The Spencer Davis Group, Ike & Tina Turner, The Rascals, Chicago, The Zombies, Otis Redding, Sonny and Cher, Sly and The Family Stone and more! The songs run the gamut from the psychedelic songs to rockin' album tracks to a sprinkling of now hip Top 40 pop from that era. The Summer of Love Concert was created by Glen Burtnik, alumnus of Styx, the original Beatlemania on Broadway (he played Paul), touring bassist/vocalist with a current version of ELO, The Orchestra, member of The Weeklings, major label recording artist and hit songwriter ("Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough" - Don Henley/Patty Smyth, "Spirit of a Boy, Wisdom of a Man" - Randy Travis, and others).

The 14+ member Summer of Love Concert includes a horn section, strings, keyboards, featured and background vocalists and a powerful rock rhythm section, celebrating “note for note and absolutely live” the songs, the memories and the spirit of the Woodstock Generation. "I've always had a playlist on my IPod named The Summer of Love. I'm actually a hippie at heart. The music of that era is probably what moves me the most," said Burtnik in a recent interview.
