“Open Lab” painting is an opportunity for you to come and paint with family, friends, or on your own. Available every day except during private events. You are welcome to stay as long as you want during regular studio hours.
Provided at PAINT:LAB
– studio space and art materials to create works of art
– in-house library of books and still life models to paint
– guidance and encouragement from professional painters and artists
– an illuminated and inspiring space
– Included in our lab fee: paint supplies, easel, brushes, workspace and cleanup.
PAINT:LAB opened its doors on March 21, 2009, on Main Street in Santa Monica. We have since moved to a great space at 1453 14th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404. Our hope is to eventually bring the PAINT:LAB concept to children and adults in many other neighborhoods, spanning across the country. We are here to provide a nurturing, creative space where customers can come in on their own schedule and create works of art that can uplift their spirit and boost their personal esteem and satisfaction. Spending a day at PAINT:LAB is an empowering and creative activity.
PAINT:LAB and the community
Because we love art and painting so much it is our goal to allow access to everyone. We work to bring art and painting classes to our community. We have worked with local libraries, local schools, the police department, seniors and youth centers, and many other local businesses.

Everyone Can Paint! – That’s our motto and we believe in it 100%.
PAINT:LAB has a 24-hour cancellation policy. Any cancellations with less than 24-hour notice are subject to a 40% cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 5 hrs and no-shows will result in full forfeiture. All deal vouchers are subject to forfeiture with less than 24 hours notice to reschedule. The Studio does not issue refunds. Studio credit is offered for returned merchandise or canceled workshops and camps within the restrictions outlined above. Credit expires 2 years after the issue date.
This item will be available for pickup on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at John Adams Middle School Performing Arts Center, Santa Monica.
Auction pickup times will be sent out to winning bidders.
If the winning bidder is a current participant in an Elemental Music program, we will do our best to deliver your winning items directly to your rehearsal during the week of Feb 28.
If the item needs to be shipped, the winning bidder is responsible for the additional shipping charges and will be billed to your account. All items are shipped with tracking. The shipper, not Elemental Music, is responsible for successful delivery.
