Chappellet 2017 Signature Cabernet Sauvignon, 1 Bottle
The Signature Cabernet Sauvignon has been a Chappellet flagship wine for more than three decades. It is a benchmark for the long-lived hillside wines of the Napa Valley; full of structure and aging potential, yet seductively forward in its concentrated varietal character. The dry, rocky soils of Pritchard Hill produce small, intensely flavorful grapes. Crop thinning allows for full, even ripening and elevates flavor complexity.
2017 Tasting Notes: A classic expression of hillside Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, this luxurious wine displays concentrated aromas of ripe black cherry, cassis and dark chocolate, along with oak-inspired notes of espresso, cinnamon,
clove and cigar box. On the supple, mouth-filling palate, elegantly refined tannins underscore the rich dark berry and blackcurrant flavors, with hints of nutmeg, anise and cedar adding sophistication to the long, voluptuous finish.

Items not picked up by March 4, 2022 will be mailed to the winning bidder, and purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs.
Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped (if possible) on or around Tuesday, February 8, 2022, unless you tell us that you wish to pick up your item.
