Hi, I’m Dara and I started Coffee & Lilacs in 2012 as a way to journal about my days as a creative mama. I am a lover of handmade, of mixed-media, of giving something old a fresh new life. I’m a fan of sincere gestures and expressions of love, both big and small. I’m quite fond of simple designs and flavors, colors found in nature, handwritten notes, children’s drawings, champagne in the afternoon, French crooners, and thrift-store shopping. Life is art and it’s the little things in life that make it grand. I strive to live with kindness and gratitude and to impart this idea to my two young sons who are my constant companions.
Much like my creative life, my personal life has taken many twists and turns, witnessing many happy accidents along the way and has landed me here in the Napa Valley, surrounded by endless inspiration and beauty. I work out of my home studio, which I share with my two best critics, Levi (6) and Calvin (3). Here is where you will find me amidst my piles of fabric, baskets of yarn, tubes of paint, and jars of brushes…we all live in harmony in this very happy place. Also, I’m (slowly) stepping into the Etsy world, if you’d like to stop by the shop to see what’s happening there.
Special Instructions
Winning bidders located in Northern California may pick up their items in Napa at a location and date to be arranged -- details will be emailed to winning bidders. Items not picked up by March 4, 2022, will be mailed to the winning bidder, and purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. (Note that we will automatically mail gift cards and gift certificates for free -- no need to pick those up.)
Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped on or around Tuesday, February 8, 2022, unless you tell us that you wish to pick up your item. Purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. (Gift cards and gift certificates ship for free.) Please contact us at sbspcauction@gmail.com by February 7, 2022, if you plan to pick up your auction winnings.
