Description

Magical Jewelry for Magical People.
Alchemilla Jewelry $100 Gift Card.

Alchemilla, the exclusive craft business of Oakland-based artist Jen Lorang, uses vintage, deadstock, and repurposed materials to create a unique line of jewelry, prints, hand-bound journals, and other magical ephemera. Jewelry collections are thoughtfully-selected, limited-run creations. Each piece is designed by hand with great attention to craftsmanship and detail.

Lorang works with a small team of three incredibly talented jewelers in her backyard barn studio on occupied Nipmuc and Pocumtuk land (Amherst, MA). She designs, fabricates, and finishes each Alchemilla piece by hand with great care, joy, and love for the magical feeling that adornment brings to its wearer. Jen designs everything -- from this website, to the wax-casted pieces, to the clasps, to the photography layouts -- all herself. The team is proudly Queer, DIY (Jen started this company w/ $200 to her name, no art degree, and no background in jewelry) and sells with primarily woman-owned and small local shops.

Visit the Alchemilla website to learn more and see additional examples of these magical designs.
