Possessing a striking personality replete with dark fruit, dark chocolate, wet stone, black tea, leather, and hints of cinnamon, giving time in the glass allows for the expansively layered nose to unveil. On the palate, notes of blackberry, blueberry, sweet oak, and graphite dance on your tongue. Fabulously concentrated, yet elegant with its presence, this wine is a generous flavor medley expertly contained by exquisite and supple tannins with an energy that will age for years to come.

VINEYARD NOTES

Sourced from fruit farmed just at the base of Howell Mountain and entirely from our Fleury Estate owned and farmed vineyard located in the Saint Helena AVA. The south-westerly exposure of this Saint Helena property provides for beautiful sun; which just kisses the clusters in the morning and allows for needed shade in the afternoon. Planted at an elevation of 1,010 (Ten10) feet above sea level, on the east side of the valley and on a gentle slope, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon planted vineyard develops into a classic style with supple tannings and deep, powerful fruit. This vineyard is truly a hidden gem.

Nestled just south of St. Helena in Rutherford, Fleury Estate is home to the Fleury tasting room, winemaking facilities and 11-acre estate vineyard.  Purchased by Brian & Claudia Fleury originally in 2000, the site has expanded to include winemaking facilities and elegantly rustic hospitality space that offers visitors an intimate wine tasting experience.  Producing just 4,000 cases of wine per year the goal at Fleury has always been to make 100% GOOD JUICE.

Brian has always had a passion for fine wines and specifically Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley. So, when he was ready for a change Brian decided to turn to a career in winemaking he brought his entire family with him to the Napa Valley. Upon arrival in Napa, Brian set about learning how to make wine from various mentors and friends in the valley. The Fleury Estate Winery is the result of years of passion, hard work and dedication that Brian and Claudia love to share with their guests.
