Domaine Carneros is a singular Napa Valley winery best known as a small grower-producer of methode traditionelle sparkling wine, Pinot Noir, estate vineyards, and a breathtakingly beautiful château. Founded by the noble family behind Champagne Taittinger, Domaine Carneros was established in 1987 when Claude Taittinger selected a 138-acre parcel in the heart of Carneros, Napa Valley, wisely choosing Eileen Crane -- often referred to as America's doyenne of Sparkling Wine -- to oversee the development of the Taittinger style in Carneros. In 2020, after 33 years, Crane passed the torch to a new CEO, Remi Cohen, whose role carries on the Taittinger tradition of visionary female leadership.
PRIME was born out of a desire to answer the question "What is the prime region in the Napa Valley to craft Cabernet Sauvignon wines?" After working with fruit from all around Napa we found the answer lies in the cool climate AVA of Coombsville. UC Davis trained Ted Henry brings more than 20 years of winemaking experience to PRIME Cellars. He enjoys developing small lots from Prime vineyards he has grown to love over the years.

Winning bidders located in Northern California may pick up their items in Napa at a location and date to be arranged -- details will be emailed to winning bidders. Items not picked up by March 4, 2022 will be mailed to the winning bidder, and purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs.
Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped (if possible) on or around Tuesday, February 8, 2022, unless you tell us that you wish to pick up your item.
