Far Niente 2013 Napa Valley Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Winemaker Notes: Far Niente Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of mixed berry fruit, boysenberry, chocolate covered cherries, layered with hints of graphite and toasted oak. On the palate, a smooth entry is followed by intense, ripe berry notes. This wine is focused and silky through the midpalate, building to a finish with broad tannins and notes of cedar and toasted oak.

This iconic estate has produced the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot. Beautiful purity of expression characterizes this medium to full-bodied, concentrated, impeccably well-balanced Cabernet Sauvignon. The color is dense purple and the wine offers up notes of spring flowers a touch of background licorice and wood and pure floral crème de cassis and blackberry fruit. It’s full-bodied with a complete mid-palate and follow-through on the palate. The wine can be approached now, or cellared for 20 or more years. Rating: 94+
Far Niente 2017 Napa Valley Chardonnay
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of melon, sweet citrus, and white blossom floral layered with notes of flint, yeast, and sweet toasted oak. A smooth and focused entry is followed by a silky midpalate with ripe flavors of honeydew and lemon, supported by just of touch of wet stone, yeast, and toasted hazelnuts. The finish is long and structured with citrus rind and mouthwatering acid.

Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped (if possible) on or around Tuesday, February 8, 2022, unless you tell us that you wish to pick up your item.
