Description

2018 Adaptation by Odette Cabernet Sauvignon
CADE 2018 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
CADE 2018 Sauvignon Blanc

2018 Adaptation by ODETTE Cabernet Sauvignon: The 2018 Adaptation Cabernet Sauvignon is opaque purple in color, presenting notes of wild blackberries, luxardo cherries, plums, crème de cassis with hints of fresh spring flowers. This full-bodied expression displays beautiful ripeness with elegant, very fine, well-integrated tannins and a gorgeous silky texture. Built for near-term appreciation and long-term potential, this forward, upfront and approachable style can be enjoyed over the next decade.

CADE 2018 Napa Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon:
The resulting wine is fantastic with aromas of clove, cranberry, raspberry, coffee, cinnamon, black pepper, and cocoa nibs. Gloriously pure notes of boysenberry, graphite, blackberry, coffee, and dark chocolate soar from the glass and cascade over the palate. The wine is full-bodied, with an opulent, velvety texture, pure, rich with firm tannins and bold structure that is classic Howell Mountain.

Number of Bottles: One

Varietal: Blend: 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Malbec, 4% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot

Appellation: Howell Mountain, Napa Valley

CADE 2018 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc: The 2018 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of orange blossom, pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, lime, yellow apple, and stone fruits. On the palate are notes of tangerine, white peach, lychee, citrus, banana, lemon zest, and grapefruit. The wine has a vibrant acidity, minerality, and a touch of creaminess on the finish. By fermenting the wine in stainless steel, French oak, and concrete, CADE builds layers of complexity in the wine. The barrel fermentations add texture, density, and viscosity to the mid-palate of the wine. The concrete adds a touch of flint and minerality to the finish as well as adding some mid-palate richness. The stainless steel fermentations preserve the natural Sauvignon Blanc aromatics and the vibrant acidity and crispness.
