Insane Paintball/Airsoft was established in 2000 with a goal of offering the best selection of product in the Chattanooga, TN area while giving customers great service at the same time. Insane launched with a walk-in retail store in Fort Oglethorpe, GA selling only paintball supplies, but by 2004 the company was ready to expand and offer a paintball playing facility in Chattanooga, TN.

In 2005 Insane opened a combination indoor and outdoor playing facility within minutes of the tourist area of Chattanooga as well as a second retail on site that was three times the size of the original Georgia location. This location offers over 40,000 square feet of indoor airsoft fields and three outdoor paintball fields. Insane Paintball/Airsoft specializes in running groups such as birthday parties and corporate outings, but is also open every weekend for players to rent equipment or bring their own gear to play. The retail store is open throughout the week, and carries all the top brands and offers tech service as well as air fills.
