The Los Angeles Center of Photography is proud to offer classes in photography, online and in-person at our Center. As the largest non-accredited school of photography on the West Coast, we are devoted to advancing the skills and increasing the personal enrichment of photographers of all experience levels and ages. Help us fulfill our mission of bringing the visual arts to kids and introduce them to the wonderful world of photography. It’s all here for your teen!
History
The Los Angeles Center of Photography (LACP) was established in October, 2013. The organization obtained 501(c)3 tax-exempt status in August, 2014. Before LACP, the entity was called “The Julia Dean Photo Workshops” (JDPW), which was created and founded in 1999 by Julia Dean.
Mission Statement
The Los Angeles Center of Photography’s (LACP) mission is to build a community of dedicated photographers and to strengthen the importance of photography as an art form by providing education, events, exhibitions, portfolio reviews, and public programs.

The winning bidder may pick up items at Bridges Academy starting on Tuesday, April 26th from 9am to 1pm in Amanda Martin’s office.
Items that need to be mailed such as gift cards/certificates will be sent via USPS. If you win an item and would like it mailed via certified insured mail, please email amanda.martin@bridges.edu by May 4th and we will do so at your expense.
Items will be shipped at the winning bidder's expense. Shipping charges for USPS Flat Rate Boxes are as follows: $9.45 for small boxes, $16.10 for medium boxes, $21.50 for large boxes. We will try to use the smallest package size we can. In the event that your item requires additional postage, you will be notified, and your card will be charged. Bridges Academy is not responsible for items lost in the mail.
