Description

Carlton Fisk Baseball Card | 1978 Topps | Boston Red Sox

A chance to get one of the Boston greats and an All Star card - would grade as Good, but presents better.

Carlton Fisk was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000. He spent 24 years in the league: 11 with the Boston Red Sox, and 13 with the Chicago White Sox. His number is retired by both teams, and he is also inducted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame.

Fisk was the first player to be unanimously voted American League Rookie of the Year. He is an 11x All-Star, a 3x Silver Slugger, and won the Gold Glove at catcher. Fisk is best known for his game-winning home run in the 12th inning of Game 6 of the 1975 World Series and "waving" the ball fair.
