Program:
For twenty years the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra has showcased local musicians and vocalists "on the rise," providing high school and college students the opportunity to perform in front of a professional orchestra. In our 21st season, the competition expands to include students developing a musical career in orchestral direction and conducting. The winner of the auditions will lead the orchestra in Gabriel Faure's Pelleas et Melisandre Suite and other works of their choosing.
