Ayumi cooks tender pieces of chicken, or made vegetarian with tofu, carrots, onions, and potatoes in a thick stew and serves it atop delicate short-grain rice along with warm miso soup. But wait--there's more! The meal is finished with “Matcha Kasutera,” a signature green tea flavored Japanese sponge cake flown in directly from Minamoto Kitchoan, the famed confectionery based in the Ginza district of Tokyo.
