I believe this to be an exquisite Kubla Crafts Dachshund hinged trinket box. It is black enamel over a heavy metal. It is adorned with brilliant rhinestones. It is 3" long and 2-1/4" high and is in excellent condition. It has a magnet enclosure.  I'll put it in a gift box ready for a fabulous Mother's Day gift!
