Beautiful oil painting of Old Roycemore by artist Zhanna Biletska, a Chicago-based artist who most of the time works in oils. Other mediums she likes are watercolor, pastel, acrylic, and gouache. At an early age, she began her formal study in Art school in Ukraine and then continued her study at University, and received a bachelor's degree in Architecture. In addition, she has studied independently with master painters further improving her skills as an artist. While studying she took part in some exhibitions in Ukraine. When Zhanna came to the USA everything was new and exciting, so she explored new places, landscapes, and cityscapes by painting and sketching them outdoors. Plein air is her favorite kind of painting and she draws inspiration from spending time outdoors while painting. Zhanna actively participates in different exhibitions and Plein air competitions.
