Getaway to Avon on Hatteras Island in North Carolina for a long weekend at "Life is Good".  This is the perfect location to explore all the villages on Hatteras Island along with their gorgeous relaxing beaches. 

There are three lighthouses nearby, many fantastic restaurants, a fishing pier and plenty of sound side water activities. 

Beach driving is possible with a permit.  A day trip to the island of Ocracoke via ferry is an added bonus. 

Select any weekend from Thursday to Sunday, June 2022 - September 2022, EXCEPT for May 26th-30th, June 30th – July 10th and Sept 1st – 5th, based on availability. 

Reservations must be made by June 1, 2022.

You will enjoy four (4) days and three (3) nights, Thursday through Sunday in a three-bedroom, two bathroom home only five minutes away from the Atlantic Ocean and Pamlico Sound. Spend time walking the beach, soaking in the sun and searching for seashells. Take in the gorgeous sunsets each evening over the sound. 

The 3 BR (1K, 1 full over full bunk with full size crib and 1 full over full bunk),

2 bath home 

sleeps 8 (max number of guests) and has ample parking. 

No pets please.

We do not have internet or cable, but there is a large TV with DVD player and a wide selection of movies.  There are two kayaks available for use and an outdoor shower which is very refreshing on summer days. 

No housekeeping services so you will need to do light housekeeping or arrangements will be made for an added fee (approximately $75). 

Check-in any time on Thursday and check out by noon on Sunday. 

Keyless entry.
