Description
Focused on Moab and the greater southwest region, Carol Delaney's beautiful paintings capture movement, evoke mystery and surprise, and highlight the wonders of the natural world.
Using a process called gicleƩ on photo satin paper to reproduce her artwork, Carol is able to capture the intricate color details of her original paintings far better than via the standard 4-color separation process.
The Black Dragon pictograph panel lies within Black Dragon Wash in the San Rafael Swell, which encompasses over 2000 square miles in south-central Utah. In an interview with Moab Happenings, Carol notes that 'Black Dragon' is "about the beauty of the dragon and the movement of the swell."
This print is 'Medium' size (dimensions vary by print, but average 22" x 17").
In 2021, Carol Delaney donated a large portion of her reprinted collection to the Youth Garden Project to support garden-based education. We are grateful and honored to be able to share her work with you all.
