This beautiful cermaic jar with matching lid was handmade by Joanne Savoie of Rimrock Studio, and generously donated by Desert Sun Ceramics. The piece is both dishwasher and oven safe. 

Joanne has been making stunning ceramic pieces in Moab for several decades, and many of the textures and forms of her art have been inspired by her geological surroundings. 

Founded in 2016, Desert Sun Ceramics began with a basic vision - to share the wonders of clay and teach people of all experience levels to unlock their creativity through ceramics. The studio provides a place where clay, creativity, and community meet!
