A Lane Tech art student in Art 1 of Ms.Custodio’s class created this piece of art. This fantasy based painting includes colorful clouds and colorful waters. This, I think, creates a sense of mystery and wonder into the story of the boat and where it was.

Artist’s Statement: The inspiration behind this piece was the thought of being alone but not being lonely. The boat is lost at sea with only the wonders of their surroundings keeping them company, but is enough for the boat to feel at peace.
