Under careful supervision, your camper will gain valuable outdoor survival skills, as they’re encouraged to grow in scenarios such as:
Creating shelters from resources found in nature
Foraging for food and learning to set traps
Building fire to cook over and stay warm
Navigating waterways and rough terrain
Employing various methods of self-rescue and rope techniques
Campers are outfitted with essential outdoor gear, so they can experience simulated, yet very real, survival scenarios in the wilderness. Campers develop grit and resilience as they test the boundaries of their physical and mental toughness. This is the only Frost Valley program where campers rappel down a 50-foot waterfall!
