Description

Yankee Magazine said "If you're romantically inclined, it doesn't get much better than this...the dining room at the top of the lighthouse is a glass-encased love nest that feels like the top of the world."  So if you have a special someone in your life with whom you want to celebrate an anniversary or a milestone birthday, what better way to show them how much you care than to give them an experience that is offered nowhere else in New England.  From the top of the lighthouse you have a 360 view of Newburyport and its harbor.

The package includes your exclusive use of the top of the lighthouse for approximately 4 hours between 5:00 and 10:30 p.m. any evening subject to availability. The lighthouse is open year round, seven days a week. Be sure to book early if you are looking for a specific date.

Also included in the package is a $100 gift card which can be used for dinner from any of the partner restaurants, which at the time of the auction include:  Mission Oak Grill, Starboard Galley, Brown Sugar by the Sea, and Loretta Restaurant.  Alll courses will be served by your own private wait staff.  Due to liquor license restrictions, if you want to compliment your meal with alcohol, you will need to bring your own bottle.

Tip for your server (minimum of $30) is not included.

Special Instructions

Access to the lighthouse is up a narrow circular staircase.  There is a short 6' ladder at the top of the lighthouse stairway that allows you to enter through a hatch in the floor of the lens room at the top of the tower.  If you wish to go outdoors to the catwalk, you will need to crawl through a small door from the lens room.  Please dress accordingly.

If won by an online bidder, this item can be picked up at 15 Main Street in Salisbury, MA or the item will be shipped by trackable mail at the winning bidder's expense.
