FIBER INFORMATION:
Jute is one of the strongest natural fibers known to man. Before the invention of steel cable, jute rope was the preferred rope material on clipper ships. Our braided jute rugs are naturally fire retardant and can be used safely around fireplaces and in kitchens. We like to call jute braids "true braids" since they do not have a core inside like flat braids. Jute is extracted from real plants and is biodegradable, making it naturally eco-friendly and green. It is also moth proof.

RUG CARE:
Jute rugs and chair pads are not suitable for high-moisture environments, so they work best in environments with low humidity. Do not use water or any water-based cleaners on the rug. Vacuum regularly and spot clean stains with club soda.
