The Weathervane Tavern opened its doors 42 years ago on Patriot’s Day, welcoming Patrons to a warm atmosphere of good service, great food and drink and providing the best value on the North Shore. Family owned and operated, they wanted their customers to dine in a friendly, congenial atmosphere, with quality food at the best possible price.

The meals are prepared on premise daily from the finest ingredients available, with all of their sauces, dressings, and soups prepared from scratch. Their salads are made to order for each patron, served with the freshest ingredients available.

The Wenham Tea House dates back to 1912.  In 2020 The Tea House welcomed a new chef who has expanded service to dinner on Friday-Saturday.  The Tea House continues to offer its staples of high tea and Sunday brunch, keeping the tradition of the Tea House alive.

The menu is best described as American fare. Chef Crocker used the term “grass roots cuisine. It doesn't have to be fancy to be good.”
