Etienne Guigal is one of the most notable wine producers in the Rhône Valley as are the names mentioned here associated with the Chateauneuf-du-Pape wines. The Guigal La Doriane Condrieu is made from Viognier, the white grape synonymous with the northern Rhône. Viognier has pronounced, aromatic stone fruit aromas (apricots and peaches) alongside a full-bodied and often textural palate. Condrieu is arguably the northern Rhône's most distinctive wine appellation and only produces Viognier.
