This iconic winery located in Washington State and founded by Alex Golitzin is equivalent to a Napa Blue Blood or a French First Growth. Established in 1978, the first of many astounding vintages was 1979. Alex's parents fled from Russia to Paris at the outbreak of the Russian Revolution and in 1946 emigrated to California. In 1967, Alex and his wife Jeannette moved the family to Washington where he worked as a chemical engineer. Paul Golitzin joined his father as winemaker in 1992 and now directs all aspects of vineyard management and winemaking. Paul's vision catapulted the wines to new level of excellence, resulting in seventeen 100-point scores from 6 different critics.
