2 tuitions for one week of Our Place Summer School from Biocitizen.
Our Place is for 8-12 year olds who like to walk & want to know how the(ir) world works. It includes:
- invigorating explorations of New York City and the biome it nests in, the Hudson River Estuary
- direct contact with thrumming infrastructures & deep-content immersion in markets, gardens, forests, and waterways
- a walking-based curricula that stimulates excitement and curiosity, and free exchange of stories and ideas
- 5 day quests, detecting and assembling clues that answer the question: “what is Our Place?”

Special Instructions
This item is for two spots, to be used by two friends going to the same session together.
Drop off and pick-up are at the Brooklyn Public Library.
Parents pack student’s transportation cards/funds, food and water, and dress them in weather-appropriate clothing. Comfortable walking shoes are required.
A student supply-list is provided, specifying equipment needed for Field Environmental Philosophy.
Class consists of 2 adult teachers and up to 10 students.
