Jason and Kelly Novak, long-time Chicago natives with a music-business background, opened the Shack in March of 2018, dedicated to the freshest fish, produce and more, with a few twists on classic poke dishes, such as Spicy Tuna Wonton Nachos, Avocado Poke Toasts and Hawaiian-style smoked Kalua Pork.

They humbly offer their best efforts serving these traditionally Japanese and Hawaiian cuisines, with a few Korean and Mexican flavors in addition.
