Artist Statement:
Silver Flash reflects the joy I get from walking our town's beaches and collecting gifts from the sea. I particularly love gathering driftwood to use in sculptures and enjoy the craft of arranging the pieces to fit the body and design of sea creatures. It's like doing a puzzle when I find just the perfect piece I need to create the different parts of the cod.
Artist Biography:
I am an artist member of the Marblehead Arts Association and particularly love painting watercolors, which I have exhibited and sold at the MFofA. I've been an interior designer, garden designer and volunteer with several different cultural organizations in town. As a floral designer, I enjoy making arrangements for the Lee Mansion, the Marblehead Arts Association and also Art in Bloom at the Museum of Fine Arts.

Special Instructions
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 9-14 at MacRea's Goods, 108 Washington St, Marblehead during normal store hours. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information on pick-up time and location.
If winning bidder requires shipping, winner's credit card will be charged a separate $24.95 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
Any cod purchased via "Buy Now" will remain on display at the hosting business through the end of the auction, and will be available for pick-up as detailed in the winning bidder notification email.
If winning bidder has not picked up cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
