Description

Innovative Rosemount Boots were developed by avid skier Frank Werner who was the President of Rosemount Engineering and were in Ski Shops by 1965. Constructed out of Fiberglass Reinforced Epoxy which was very strong, weatherproof, lightweight (by yesterday's standards), and easily formed to any shape. Forward flex was controlled by three interchangeable neoprene bands inside the boot. Custom-fit was offered with small fitting pillows filled with beads or Rosemount putty that fit into leather pockets around the ankles. Boots are c. 1970. Serial number is 08-12759. They are used but would make a great conversation item or bookends. Production was ended in 1972. Boots come with boot carrier.
