This jar contains sea glass pieces in various sizes and shades of white, brown, green, aqua, and blue gathered from the beaches of Martha's Vineyard.

This sea glass comes from glass bottles of different colors that find their way into the ocean around the world. It takes about 30 years for the ocean to roll and soften glass pieces and then they become extraordinary colored pieces of stone.

Clear glass is the most common, followed by brown and green.  The most prized, rare glass is orange and red.
