Prints are mint, protected in original (though a bit tattered) Rockwell envelope. This portfolio of Norman Rockwell prints was given to participants as a remembrance of a 1963 Boy Scouts of America (BSA) training course.
Each print is 18" X 21"
These are 6 of the 65 Norman Rockwell BSA paintings.
Back in 1911, when Rockwell was 17, he got his first job-working for the Boy Scouts of America. He illustrated BOY's LIFE for 3 years and did some covers .
When his ability to produce pictures that tell a story was wildely recognized, he was commissioned by the BSA for the paintings for the Boy Scout calendars, as early as 1925. His paintings were also used as covers for the Boy Scout Handbook.
