This painting was created using the acrylic pouring technique whereby layers of fluid acrylic paint are poured into a cup, then flipped over onto a prepared canvas. The canvas is then tilted allowing the paint to flow.

The spontaneous pour results in a painting that is in essence, an organic and abstract composition; a design both unpredictable and unique.

A clear resin is applied as a final finish to the work.

Artist: "I enjoy creating acrylic flow paintings because I am interested in both abstract and natural, organic forms. The " pour" technique is a significant departure from some of my first oil paintings created around 2005 in the Italian Renaissance style."
